The detail on this is more unique than your standard HGUC model. The Sazabi is indeed 1/144 scale however its proportions and sizes are more stretched because it is more of a wider and bulkier design. A lot of pieces are majorly big and thick. It's detail is there and it is good quality but most pieces could use more panel lines and detail. If your good, your could achieve a MG result with this HGUC. I am still surprised about the size of it because I am not used to that in HG models. It is definitely enjoyable don't get me wrong at all.

It has enjoyable additions as well. Most HG models sometimes lack options and add-ons which makes the model less enjoyable. The more you get the more fun it is to change it up frequently. Standard sheild, rifle, two sabers, the special beam saber, and beam axe.

It is a bulky model guys. It is articulated but obviously some pieces handicap how much it can angle. Especially the legs. However an action base always solves any articulation stress any model has.

Overall I don't have much of a HGUC to recommend everything I see but I like it. If you can't afford the MG Sazabi this thing is great enough. This and the Psycho Gundam, and Kshatriya are all special sized models. Majorly they are probably the only time you will see different sized designs compared to the usual models like Nu Gundam. Not surprising though. Make a big, wide, bulky mobile suit, and it's model will be big.

The detail and overall quality of this is amazing. It is definitely by far one of the HGUC's anybody should have on their list. It also comes with a lot more options like more markings. I however didn't apply them because I plan on customizing this in the future. Generally I love the overall design. I am a fan of the original but this is hands down even cooler. I especially like the arms. How one has a gatling wrist while the other is a standard shield plugin. The wings are a downside however. Only comes with two separate funnels. The wings have the remaining two molded in it. Which basically let's just call it what it is. Two funnels. Love the propellant tanks and the thruster pieces. If its one thing I enjoy the most it is the gunmetal inner frame this is molded in. Another thing you don't often see in particular models.

The articulation can go farther than this. This is a mere basic idea of how far the arms and legs move. However the wings can move. The tanks can move. Another amazing thing is that this model can squat down. It is very flexible. ^_^

This model is like a sweet refined, epic upgrade version of the original. It is definitely amazing and the accessories and add-ons it comes with make it more enjoyable.

Definitely recommended. Better than Nu Gundam but original designs can never be out done. Just an opinion.
